A: Once you submit your complete requirements including 2D/3D drawings, dimension tolerances, optical specifications, coating requirements, target working environment, order quantity and delivery schedule, our optical engineering and sales team will start assessment immediately. For most standard custom optical glass projects, our team will finish reviewing your technical specifications and release a preliminary customized technical solution within 1 working day. The technical document will cover recommended glass substrate material, coating options, machining plan, achievable tolerance range, surface quality grade and feasibility risk notes.

After the technical scheme is confirmed, our costing department will calculate raw material cost, CNC processing expense, coating manufacturing cost, inspection cost and packaging cost. A complete formal commercial quotation will normally be ready and sent to you within 1 to 2 working days. If your project involves ultra-precision tolerances, special customized coating, sapphire material or very complex non-standard shape processing, we may need additional time for deeper technical evaluation, and we will notify you of the timeline at the first time.

If you only have conceptual ideas without finished drawings, our optical design engineers can also assist you to sort out key optical parameters and create preliminary design sketches, which usually takes 2 to 3 working days. We keep transparent communication during the whole assessment period. If any technical limitation or cost optimization suggestion appears, we will communicate proactively rather than delay the quotation.
