High hardness, scratch-resistant, wide transmission range, excellent thermal and chemical stability for harsh environment optics. Popular infrared material with low absorption at CO₂ laser wavelength, ideal for thermal imaging and laser optics. Multi-spectral zinc sulfide, balanced mechanical strength and IR transmission, widely used for optical domes and windows. High refractive index infrared material, commonly used for thermal imaging lenses and infrared optical assemblies.
