Felix Glass supplies custom K9 (H-K9L) optical prisms equivalent to Schott N-BK7. We produce right angle, equilateral, penta, dove, corner cube and special shaped prisms for machine vision, laser systems, spectroscopy, medical instruments and surveying equipment. Strict angle tolerance, premium surface quality and optional optical coatings available. Low-grade glass contains bubbles and striae, leading to stray light and image distortion Suppliers unable to deliver special geometries, customized coatings and small prototype batches Standard low-quality prisms introduce beam shift, ghost reflections and light loss. Our H-K9L optical prisms are manufactured from high-homogeneity glass blank with controlled bubble and striae class. CNC grinding and precision polishing guarantee tight angle tolerance and smooth optical surfaces. Custom AR, HR or metallic coatings maximize throughput for visible and near-infrared optical systems. N-BK7 equivalent borosilicate crown glass with stable transmission from 350 nm to 2.0 μm, low thermal expansion and good chemical resistance. Available surface quality 60/40, 40/20, 20/10; flatness up to λ/10 and angle tolerance down to ±30 arc seconds for high-precision applications. Produce prisms according to customer drawings: dimensions, bevel, shading, spectral coatings and inspection standards all customizable. H-K9L (Chinese K9) has nearly identical optical parameters to Schott N-BK7: refractive index nd≈1.5168, Abbe number νd≈64.2. We can produce from either material as requested. All coatings are deposited via ion-assisted deposition inside in-house vacuum chambers. Different prism geometries serve unique optical functions. We assist customers to select suitable prism type, tolerance grade and coating scheme according to operating wavelength and system requirements.
