3. Pressure, Salt Fog & Thermal Shock Resistance

Sapphire optical domes can adapt to extreme working conditions of deep-sea high pressure, offshore salt spray, airborne rapid temperature changes. Different substrates are recommended according to the actual application spectrum and environment.

Single crystal sapphire supports broadband transmission from ultraviolet to mid-infrared. ZnS, ZnSe and germanium materials focus on mid-wave and long-wave infrared, widely matched with thermal imaging infrared detector modules.
