Felix Glass supplies custom large-diameter CVD ZnSe and multispectral ZnS infrared windows pre-coated with 8–14μm broadband anti-reflection coating. Designed specifically for long-wave infrared thermal imaging systems, these big-aperture IR windows minimize surface reflection within the 8‑14μm atmospheric window, boost thermal image contrast and reduce ghost reflections. We support custom round, rectangular and domed large-size blanks, suitable for high-end PTZ thermal cameras, perimeter surveillance, vehicle thermal vision and airborne IR payloads. Standard small infrared windows cannot meet wide-field, high-resolution thermal camera aperture demands. Without 8–14μm BBAR coating, Fresnel reflection creates bright stray light and reduces signal-to-noise ratio for LWIR detectors. Our large-diameter CVD ZnSe and MS-ZnS windows are precision polished and coated for the 8–14μm atmospheric transmission band. Multispectral ZnS delivers superior mechanical strength for outdoor vibration-prone platforms; large ZnSe offers excellent homogeneity for high-precision thermal optics. Both versions suppress reflection loss and protect LWIR detector chips from dust, humidity and impact.
